The house was exactly what we needed for the weekend. Plenty of rooms, beds and space to spread out. The walls are a little thin and you can hear street noise clearly. The neighborhood is in transition but wouldn’t recommended walking around at night. Quick uber ride to anywhere we needed to go. We did lose electricity the last night when cleaning up and trying to run the dishwasher. We went to bed without realizing and woke up freezing. Owner was responsive to the outage but we were up and out early to make it to the airport.

Lovely accommodations and very large and comfortable. Great amenities. Owner responded immediately to questions we had. Not the best neighborhood. Not walking distance from French quarter but I recommend staying there.

Place was exactly as described. We were a group of 12 girls and we fit there comfortably as it was very spacious. Close to FQ, Bourbon St. and Frenchman St. Pretty well stocked with all necessary amenities and one of the best Luxury Vacation Rentals in New Orleans . I do recommend going out in groups and not walking alone while at night. Overall property had great value, location and recommendations.

Let me start by saying that Franics is an AMAZING and responsive host! She was in constant contact through the app whenever I had a question or needed something. The place itself is amazing. I traveled with a group of 6 friends. There was more than adequate space as everyone had a bed to sleep in and we had plenty of nice areas to sit and talk. The property was sparkling clean upon arrival and everything that we would need was right at our fingertips. There were even umbrellas for use for us. I know that others have complained about the area but we didn't see it as a problem. While suburban people may find it a "rough" neighborhood, we thought it was fine. We had no problems with the location. There is a gas station with a convenience store about 30 yards from the front door and there is also a CVS across the street from there so that we could pick up water and juice, etc. Also within a two minute walk is "Eat at Melba's". This was a winner for us. Some may call it a hole in the wall but the place has authentic creole food and drinks and it wasn't expensive...about $10 per person. They had a broad selection of food that was ready quick. My suggestion, if you are traveling with a group to order a couple of platters (pork chops, chicken, mac and cheese, etc.). It saved us money on eating and we didn't have to cook. I will definitely stay at this property or any of Francis' properties again.

Francis was an amazing host, and was quick to respond to any questions we had. The two biggest questions being where the off road parking is and the correct information for connecting to Wifi. Both of these questions were answered in the white binder found in the kitchen. We had three cars and were able to park on the road right next to the house the whole time. The house was much larger than expected with beautiful furnishings. The kitchen and bathrooms were also well stocked with supplies. The home is located in an older neighborhood and not too far from the French Quarter. We walked there a couple of times during the day, but not at night. There is a gas station and CVS right next to the house. Melba's is a couple blocks away and a great grocery store, Roberts, a few blocks away. It had fresh meat, a deli, bakery, everything you need. We would definitely stay here again!
